Sharing Contentment In Christ.

Leanna Hampton - Author

As Christian women who believe the Bible, we desire to live joyful lives and shine brightly for Jesus.

But what happens when we are neck-deep in the messy moments of life?

Maybe we are having trouble hearing from God, or we default to TV or social media for satisfaction, or we think we are the only woman in Bible study who can’t get her act together (not true by the way).

Our stories and struggles are probably different, and that’s how it should be. But one thing I know we have in common is that we’ve been designed by an infinitely creative God to find contentment only in Him.

Let’s stop accusing ourselves for not measuring up to the “perfect” Christian woman. Instead, join me on my blog as I write about the contentment Jesus brings when we stop hiding our mess and seek Him in the middle of our everyday lives!

Let’s run toward Him with our whole heart!

Points of Contact with Jesus

Points of Contact with Jesus

Sure-Footed When I was horseback riding in the mountains this summer, we rode some really narrow trails that clung to the side of the hill. I'm a pretty comfortable rider and not easily spooked, but I'll admit to mostly holding my breath and leaning toward the upward...

Misunderstood, Yet Understood By God

Misunderstood, Yet Understood By God

Nothing causes me more frustration than feeling misunderstood by those who are in close community with me. The problem isn’t always on their end. It’s mine. What happens when I can’t explain myself well enough to be understood in the first place? I’m frustrated at...
